Find a repeatable rhythm
Use the first attempt to learn how the action responds. A tap may change direction, release an object, or add a small amount of movement, and those actions call for different timing. Watch the result of one input before adding another. Pick a stable visual reference such as a platform edge, an orbit, or the center of a target. Looking slightly ahead gives you more time than following only the moving object.
A useful next attempt
After a miss, change one part of your timing. Try an earlier action, a later action, or fewer corrections, then compare the result. Repeated rapid inputs can hide what caused the error. Stop for a moment if you find yourself acting before reading the next instruction.
